There are hundreds of pubs across Canada and some of them made it to people’s top list of favourites. What makes a pub so great that it stuck to people’s mind, despite them drinking the night away?
That is what we are here to tell you. So, here are 3 pubs you should visit at least once or twice.
McLean’s Pub – 1210 Rue Peel, Montréal
If you are looking for a place to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, you can’t go wrong with McLean’s.
McLean’s, according to the locals of Montreal, is the best pub to watch Habs matches. The interior design of this pub screams tradition and style.
Can you believe that the pub has been around since 1910? Of course, back then, it wasn’t a bar. Since the early 1990s, McLean’s has become a staple pub not only for the locals but to visitors coming from different parts of Canada and different parts of the world.
Buckingham – 10439 82 Ave NW, Edmonton
If you want a great pub grub and great eats, Buckingham is the place for you. The alcoholic beverage menu in Buckingham is out of this world. The establishment does this to attract people of all ages. If you’re here during the weekends, you’ll notice most of the people with you are young.
So, if you want to talk to some cool oldies, Friday is the day you visit. Buckingham is also applauded for one more thing, it has an only VEGAN menu. That might sound crazy given that it is a pub and people want some heavy snacks. But no.
Buckingham’s vegan menu of deep-fried pickles, jalapeño poppers, tempura green beans, veggies and ranch, among others are the best. People from other cities even drive for hours and hours just to visit Buckingham.
C’est What – 67 Front St. East, Toronto
